About Me

Let me introduce myself...

I was born in Exeter, in the south-west of England and graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Studies. A year later I qualified as an English teacher, moved to Milan, Italy, and I have been teaching English ever since.

I have taught English to a wide range of professionals in many different sectors across Europe & further afield. I love meeting so many different people from different sectors and the satisfaction of seeing my students making progress is priceless.

Having studied French, Italian, and Spanish, I know what it means to learn a foreign language and I feel I can relate to my students' difficulties. I can understand the unique difficulties that professionals face when it comes to effective communication. Practice your English as much as possible, both inside and outside of the classroom. Try to do something in English every day: read an article online, listen to a podcast, and learn some new vocabulary.
